Monday, May 4 ... deep in preparation

As it seems we will be quite busy on the boat, I'm doing a pre-trip post for those who may wish to "follow" the blog.  Weather in Chicago cool and crisp -- good preparation, I suspect.  More later as we wish ourselves Bon Voyage!
